一、為什麼學諺語
學習諺語的原因有二：
其一，作文可以拿高分！小學階段是的英語是有作文的，只要用上一句諺語，保證你的作文立馬脫穎而出！
其二，初中和高中階段，你一定會碰到考諺語的原題！不是可能碰到，而是一定！百分百！我敢打賭，初中百分百就會遇到本篇介紹的第一個諺語“Where there is a will there is a way.”歡迎打臉！
二、小學必會40句諺語
PART1：勵志相關
1.有志者,事竟成.
Where there is a will there is a way.
I.生詞解釋：
will在這裡是名詞“志向”
way一般翻譯為“道路、方式”，在這裡引申為“出路/出息”。
II.實這句話蘊含著一個典故和一副對聯
I.對聯如下：
有志者,事竟成破釜沉舟百二秦關終屬楚（描述項羽）
苦心人,天不負,臥薪嚐膽,三千越甲可吞吳（描述勾踐）
2. 燕雀安知鴻鵠之志.
A sparrow cannot understand the ambition of a swan.
I.生詞解釋：
Sparrow [ˈspærəʊ] 麻雀
Swan [swɒn] 天鵝
3.天生我才必有用.
Every man has his price.
4.世上無難事,只要肯登攀.

PART2：含有比較的意思（比較級及最高級）

（注意此處 the longest和the first的用法）

I．單詞解釋：
pride [praɪd] 自豪; 驕傲;
modesty [ˈmɒdəsti] 謙虛、謙遜
4.少壯不努力,老大徒傷悲.
A young idler, an old beggar.
①生詞解釋
Idler [ˈaɪdlə(r)] 懶漢
Beggar [ˈbeɡə(r)] 乞丐
5.良藥苦口.
A good medicine tastes bitter.
（注意這裡用了是形容詞bitter的院級，它的比較級是bitterer）
6.沒有付出,就沒有收穫.
No pain, no gain.
7.積少成多
Every little helps.
8.世上唯有貧窮可以不勞而獲.

9.冰凍三尺非一日之寒/羅馬不是一天建成的.

（你看出來這裡用的是被動語態了麼）

（注意better是good的比較級）

PART4:其它
①be動詞部分
1.知識就是力量.

（still大部分翻譯為“仍然”，但是這裡它是形容詞“安靜的”）

三、學以致用
學以致用，一直是我比較推崇的教育方法。我們學習諺語，最終一定要能在自己的寫作和生活中用上。學習上尤其是考試或者平時寫作文的時候，能用上一句，那本篇文章立即就會脫穎而出，拿高分或者得到老師認可，自不必言。如果在生活上的合適場合，尤其是和老外聊天的時候，能恰當的用一句諺語，那我們的外國朋友肯定會對我們刮目相看。
諺語在寫作和生活中使用的情景，一般是放在文首，引出本文的討論對象。比如：當我們寫關於細節或者健康的時候，開頭就可以這樣寫：
As we all know that there is a saying “Health is better than wealth.” A healthy body let us do lots of things in our daily life.
As we all know that there is a saying “Detail is the key to success.” We should be careful about our action and words in our life, because they may hurt others.
